Ingredients
2 lbs wings
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1 1/2 tsp Maggi Chicken seasoning
1 egg (whisked)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Chili powder
2 - 3 tbsps butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup Soy sauce (or Tamari for gluten free) 2 tbsps brown sugar
1/4 cup Ghost Honey
Fresno chili’s
Cilantro
Dredge
3/4 cup Cornstarch
1/4 cup rice flour
1 tsp Maggi Chicken seasoning
Procedure
Mix all of the seasonings with the wings. Add the egg and mix till incorporated, let the seasoned wings marinate for 24 hours.
For the dredge mix the ingredients
For the sauce in a mediumsaucepanover medium-high heat, bring the butter, ghost honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic to a rapid boil. Allow to simmer, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes or until sauce is reduced by 1/2. Remove saucepan from heat.
Heat oil to 350 degrees and cook wings in batches for 6-8 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Toss wings with a generous amount of sauce garnish with sliced Fresno chilis and cilantro.
