The Ghost Rush

Bourbon, lemon, and spicy honey combine for a cocktail that's perfect all year round.

For the cocktail:

  • 34 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 34 oz. Ghost honey syrup ( below )
  • 2 oz. bourbon


  1. In a shaker tin, combine lemon juice, ghost honey syrup, and bourbon.
  2. Shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube.
  3. Enjoy!


Ghost Honey in its natural state is too viscous to be used in cold drinks—it will coagulate at the bottom of the shaker and not incorporate into the cocktail. For best results, make a honey syrup by combining equal parts honey and warm water, stirring until the honey is dissolved thoroughly.
